Latest News - Trainers' Championship off to Doncaster this March

Doncaster was today announced as the new venue for the Betfair Trainers’ Championship, live on Sky Sports on March 23rd. Having applied to host the meeting for the past three years, Doncaster’s patience and persistence has finally been rewarded.
Yvonne Freeborn, Doncaster’s General manager, revealed: "Doncaster applied for this meeting for the last three years, so we are thrilled and delighted to be holding the Betfair Trainers Championship at Doncaster.
“Doncaster has had two successful Sky meetings in recent times, and we will pull out all the stops to ensure everyone attending has a wonderful evening.”
Last year’s event was held at Sheffield’s Owlerton Stadium where Charlie Lister’s achievement in recording six wins from seven was regarded as one of the greatest achievements in the sport’s history.
